What was the situation before you got banned: I was bored and new to the server, I was scrolling through the tab list and wondered if some of the peoples names were there real names based off their steam names, I looked up one of the player's profile in google and it showed their facebook account, I jokingly told them about it in the voicecall and told him "I like your car Mr. Starr" Then I was perm banned.

Are you in the wrong or in the right: Wrong. I should not have done what I did, I apologize for my stupid mistake, I promise not to try to uncover personal info on any players again.
I think lowering my punishment to a 1-72 hour ban would help me realize my actions and help prepare me to rejoin the server once again,
